WINC Tradeswomen Readiness Program

Program Description:

Women can earn more in trades careers than in service, retail, or hospitality careers! The Tradeswomen Readiness Program (TRP) is designed to prepare women to enter these active and high-paying trades careers. TRP introduces participants to trades careers and helps them build the math and personal skills to qualify. Participants also visit union building trades apprenticeship programs, manufacturing plants, and SEPTA, so they can choose which trades to pursue. Each participant will be matched with a tradeswoman mentor.
