Congreso Emergency Medical Technician
An Emergency Medical Technician provides basic life support care to patients who call 911 in an emergency. Due to the lack of staffing, the need for trained EMS (emergency medical services) practitioners has increased, leading to more job opportunities and a higher starting rate of pay.

- Pre-requisites: High School Diploma/GED
- Training Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri at Congreso 10 am – 3 pm Tues/Thurs at Burholme 9 am – 3 pm
- Skills Learned: Basic Life Support and Emergency Care, BLS Provider CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed training, Driving ambulances through the EVOC course, Communication skills, Crisis communication, Critical thinking, Safe patient care
