Software Engineering Training in Philadelphia 

 

This 15-week course covers key software development technologies, including React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and TypeScript. Learners will gain experience with version control, agile practices, front-end and back-end development, and CI/CD workflows. By the end, they’ll be prepared for roles in web development and related fields. 

 

Training Provider: Per Scholas Philadelphia 

Program Length: 15 weeks 

Program Format: Remote

Prerequisites: Tech knowledge is recommended.  

  • Be at least 18 years old  
  • Have a high school diploma or GED 
  • Commitment to start a full-time job after course completion 
  • Reside within eligible distance of the advertised Per Scholas Site 
  • Pass all required enrollment steps, such as assessments, pre-work and documentation 
  • Be able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently 
  • Able to commit to the instructor-led time full-time commitment required for the course 

Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm 

Skills Learned: Learn modern tools and workflows, including version control and agile, Build full-stack apps with React, Node.js, and MongoDB, Improve code quality with TypeScript and implement CI/CD, Platforms & softwares: Git, Jira, Visual Studio Code, MongoDB, MySQL, Node.js, Express, React, Redux
