NuPaths: IT Foundations | IT Pathway

Explore opportunities in Information Technology by enrolling in Core IT Pathways today! This training is a 2-level course. The first level is IT Foundations which will teach customers the basics of information technology.  The course develops a fundamental understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, computer application software, networking technologies and protocols, web browsers, identifying security risks, troubleshooting errors, and system maintenance. Earn the CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification and 2 college credits.

Upon completion of IT foundations, customers can choose to complete an IT Pathway program based on interests and performance in Level 1 (IT Foundations).  IT Pathway program options include Associate Website Developer, IT Security Analyst, Network Technician, Project Analyst, Software Testing Analyst, or Technical Support Specialist.  Earn up to an additional 5 industry certifications and 8 college credits, depending on the IT Pathway program. Length of training varies upon the IT pathway option selected. Customers can expect to participate in an additional 18-24 weeks of training if selecting an IT Pathways course.
