JEVS EduConnect: Pharmacy Technician

This comprehensive hybrid course will prepare learners to enter the pharmacy field and take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s PTCB exam. All labs will take place in the JEVS/CVS Workforce and Innovation Talent Center in a mock CVS pharmacy.  All participants who complete the course will be guaranteed an interview at CVS.

Content includes pharmacy terminology, reading and interpreting prescriptions, defining generic and brand names drugs, and much, much more.  This program will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and to pursue certification including the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s PTCB exam.

Schedule

• Starts Thursday, October 20^th
• Ends Thursday, December 22^nd
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 10-1pm. Four of the Tuesdays will be an in-person lab at Orleans Technical College in Northeast Philly; otherwise the rest of the classes are on Zoom.
